30 educators prepare to be District C coaches

Over the last two weeks, 30 educators from around the Triangle and beyond kicked off the 2019-2020 District C Coaching Institute by experiencing the learning model as their future students will. In teams of 3 or 4, these teachers, administrators, and education leaders solved real business problems for WeWork, Triangle YMCA, North Carolina Football Club, and Marbles Kids Museum. They will pick up their training this fall as they prepare to implement District C for their students in the spring.

Last month, we had the opportunity to share our work at the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools conference in Los Angeles. Thanks to Alison Chernin and Saint Mary’s for inviting us to co-present.

Thank you to Getting Smart for inviting us, and to UPenn for hosting a great event.
